Step 1

Skin Analysis

Every facial at The Face Lab begins with a professional skin analysis to ensure your treatment is tailored specifically to your skin’s unique needs.

During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin type, hydration levels, oil production, texture, pore size, and overall skin health.

We’ll identify any concerns such as acne, congestion, sensitivity, pigmentation, redness, fine lines, or signs of ageing, while discussing your current skincare routine, lifestyle, and any medical considerations that may affect your treatment.

Step 2

Double Cleanse

A double-cleanse with Kaeso anti Ageing cleanser to lift makeup and sebum.

Upon the second cleanse, a gentle warm, steam will be started.

Step 3

Tone

Following cleansing and exfoliation, a Kaeso anti-ageing toner is applied to refresh and rebalance the skin while removing any remaining impurities.

Warm steam is also applied at this stage to help soften the skin and loosen congestion within the pores, making it easier to remove blackheads and impurities during the extraction stage.

Step 4

Dermaplaning

Next, our Dermaplaning treatment uses nourishing jojoba oil to provide a smooth, comfortable glide while gently exfoliating your skin and removing dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz).

Step 5

Extractions

Where needed, gentle extractions are performed to safely remove blackheads, clogged pores and built-up impurities. This helps to reduce congestion, refine the appearance of pores and promote a clearer, healthier-looking complexion.

Performed with care and precision, extractions minimise unnecessary trauma to the skin and are always tailored to your skin’s condition to ensure maximum comfort and the best possible results.

Step 6

Tone

Following your dermaplaning treatment and extractions, a further Kaeso anti Ageing toner is applied to refresh and rebalance the skin while removing any remaining surface oils.

Collagen Mask + Décolleté Massage

Now, relax with a cooling collagen Mask and a soothing décolleté massage.

This intensely hydrating treatment drenches the skin with moisture, helping to restore softness, smoothness, and elasticity. Rich in hyaluronic acid, the mask works to attract and retain hydration, leaving the skin feeling plump, refreshed, and deeply nourished.

As the mask works its magic, enjoy a décolletage massage with Kaeso Mature Skin Oil.

This luxurious combination enhances your facial experience, leaving both your skin and mind feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and beautifully nourished.

Step 8

LED Red Light Therapy

A 10-minute red LED light session with Kaeso collagen gel then gives you change to relax. At the same time, the laser therapy penetrates the skin to support cell renewal, improve circulation, and encourage the skin’s natural healing process.

This can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin firmness, calm inflammation, and promote a brighter, more youthful complexion.

Step 9

Collagen Neck & Face Massage + Moisturing

After your LED session, Kaeso anti-ageing serum will be gently massaged into your face and neck. Your face will be at optimal absorption levels after your demaplaning.

The final step of your acne facial is the application of a lightweight Kaeso anti-ageing moisturiser to hydrate and protect your skin without clogging pores.

Step 10

SPF & Aftercare

The dermaplaning facial is finished with the application of simple SPF to protect your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Following exfoliation and active skincare treatments, your skin can be more sensitive to sunlight, making daily sun protection an essential step in maintaining healthy skin.

All of our facials come with aftercare instructions and small sachets of Hyaluronic acid to apply on the evening of your facial and the next morning, ensuring your skin absorbs the products tailored to you whilst it is exfoliated and at its most absorbent.
